I repeated a "fact" for years. Then I checked.

Let me tell you about the first time I looked something up for myself. It was not impressive. I typed a question into ChatGPT and asked it to pull up the eighty-three Bank of America patents that mention Ripple.

It came back with one.

Not eighty-two. Not seventy. One.

People expect that to feel like winning. It does not. My stomach sank. Not because I had been wrong, I have been wrong plenty, but because I had said it out loud. More than once. To people listening because they thought I knew what I was talking about.

Everything I believed had come from someone else's mouth. A video. A thread. A guy who sounded certain.

What the Bank of America filing actually says

Be excited for reasons you checked yourself.

When you check for yourself, you get something no video can give you: certainty. A statement built on facts and a story you repeated from someone else are not the same thing, and you feel the difference every time you open your mouth.

I have never been more sure about Ripple and XRP. And at the same time, I don't trust a single thing I'm told about them. BY ANYONE.

Who wrote it

Michael J. Widmer is not a journalist, an analyst, or an insider. He's a guy like you who got tired of the BS and went and checked for himself. He bought XRP in 2021 and still holds it.

Twenty-five years and 400+ home sales taught him that the details are written down, sometimes hidden in the contract. Every chapter closes with The Read, where he says what the research taught him.

What's inside

The book walks the paperwork in order. The ledger that was built before the company existed. The patents filed while the market was looking elsewhere. The lawsuit, and what the court actually ruled. The acquisitions, the stablecoin, the trust bank charter with a fence around it, the seat at the table under the American stock market, and the two laws, one signed and one stuck in the Senate, that decide what all of it is allowed to be.
